Graham Roumieu Brings Canadian Tuxedo to Life for Perfumehead’s Art of Elysium Campaign

Graham Roumieu, celebrated illustrator and author, lends his signature wit and visual storytelling to Perfumehead’s Canadian Tuxedo, a fragrance that captures the essence of denim’s rugged charm and timeless sophistication.

Known for his evocative and often humorous work—think satirical Bigfoot biographies—Roumieu brings a uniquely tactile energy to this collaboration, blending artistry and olfactory inspiration in support of The Art of Elysium.

Canadian Tuxedo is part of a limited-edition collection that features nine distinct fragrances, each represented by a different artist. Roumieu’s contribution is as evocative as the scent itself, which master perfumer Céline Perdriel describes as "seductive and casual—like denim on starlets." With top notes of coriander and mandarin, a heart of cumin and cedarwood, and a warm base of tonka bean and Peru balsam, the fragrance is a sensory tribute to the understated glamour of blue jeans.

Perfumehead, founded by Daniel Patrick Giles in Los Angeles, is known for blending fine craftsmanship with cultural storytelling. Its ethos, rooted in creating extrait de parfum—the most concentrated and luxurious form of fragrance—resonates through every detail of Canadian Tuxedo.

Roumieu’s dynamic illustration pairs seamlessly with the fragrance, encapsulating its bold yet approachable spirit.
