Javi Aznarez x Chamberlain Coffee — Grounds for Celebration

Brewing an Artist Series with Chamberlain Coffee

Spanish illustrator Javi Aznarez has turned his brush toward beans. Known for his vivid, cinematic drawings—often seen in The French Dispatch and beyond—Javi brings that same flair to a new collaboration with Chamberlain Coffee. This marks his first time illustrating for a coffee brand.

Each bag in the Artist Series features a new visual story, selected personally by Emma Chamberlain. Javi’s edition shows his signature blend of humor and nostalgia—characters mid-conversation, cups steaming, lines sharp as espresso. It feels less like packaging and more like a film still, paused on a quiet, caffeine-fueled moment.

The collaboration is available exclusively through Chamberlain Coffee’s subscription service. Every month, a new artist joins the series, each creating their own take on what a “morning ritual” might look like. For Javi, that ritual seems to involve a cast of early risers, gathered around a pot, half-awake and wholly human.

It’s an image that fits both worlds—coffee and art—where repetition becomes creation, and routine turns ritual.
