The new Macallan Boutique has opened inside Harrods, London, in the former Baccarat Bar next to the Fine Wines & Spirits Department.

It gives visitors a chance to step into the world of The Macallan, the famous single malt whisky maker from Speyside, Scotland.

The space was designed with award-winning architect Jamie Fobert and takes inspiration from The Macallan’s history, craft and materials.

Rather than feeling like a standard shop, the boutique has been created as an experience. Visitors can discover rare and limited-edition whiskies, enjoy tastings, explore the story behind the brand, and personalise bottles with bespoke engraving.

To celebrate the opening, Harrods has produced an exclusive gift sleeve for The Macallan Rare Cask 2026 Release, featuring artwork by Javi Azanrez.

A long-time creative collaborator of The Macallan, Javi brings warmth, humour and character to the project through his distinctive illustration style.

His artwork shows a lively, elegant crowd scene, full of small details and personality. It feels sophisticated but also human and inviting — a perfect match for a special release that celebrates craft, atmosphere and occasion.

Limited to just 100 bottles, this Harrods-only edition is available exclusively from The Macallan Boutique at Harrods.

The collaboration brings together whisky, design, luxury retail and contemporary illustration, with Javi’s artwork adding a colourful and memorable touch to The Macallan’s first UK boutique.
