OOO: A Collaborative Exhibition by Jon Gray and Tom Etherington

OOO is a new exhibition of collaborative work from designer Jon Gray and design director Tom Etherington, running from 2 May to 9 June at The Old School Gallery.

Known for their influential roles in contemporary book cover design, Gray and Etherington have come together for the first time to explore a shared visual language outside the context of publishing.

The works on show combine bold colour, precise typography, and layered compositions that reflect their respective sensibilities—Gray’s hand-drawn, expressive approach meeting Etherington’s clean, structured aesthetic.

The result is a fresh body of work that bridges graphic design and art, offering a glimpse into the creative possibilities when two established voices experiment beyond commercial constraints.

All pieces in the exhibition are available to purchase.
