Richard Osman’s The Impossible Fortune illustrated by Joel Holland

A return to the Thursday Murder Club

Joel Holland illustrates the newest installment in Richard Osman’s series, The Impossible Fortune. His line drawings continue to illustrate the familiar mix of menace and mild humor. This new installment takes the Thursday Murder Club back into action.

Synopsis

This time, the preoccupations are more domestic at the start. Joyce is caught up in wedding seating charts. Elizabeth is in mourning. Ron has family problems. Ibrahim is still listening to criminals from his armchair. The group seems subdued until a wedding guest brings trouble. A kidnapping unfolds. A code thought unbreakable sits at the center of the crime. Death follows quickly.
