SADDO's Artistic Odyssey: From Museums to Masterpieces in Painted Ceramics - A Journey Fueled by Passion, Challenges, and Unexpected Results!

SADDO has been captivated by the art of painted ceramics for years, a fascination deepened through explorations in various museums, such as the Gulbenkian collection in Lisbon, and Grayson Perry's work at The National Portrait Gallery in London.

His decision to embark on creating a series of painted ceramics was discussed after he relocated from Bucharest to Lisbon.

His journey into ceramics has been a mix of enjoyment and challenge for sure. A steep learning curve in a new technique, complete with its failures, such as melted porcelain and shattered vases.

Despite these obstacles, SADDO’s results are wonderful, producing unexpected results and leading to the formation of a mini collection, with plans to expand it further in 2024.

The collection will be showcased and available at SADDO's next solo exhibition with @mobiusgallery this year.
