The "FANBOY2" exhibition by Raul Oprea, known artistically as SADDO, presents a vibrant tribute to hip hop culture, exhibited at Mobius Gallery in Bucharest.
This dynamic exhibition is the continuation of a journey that began in 2017, born out of SADDO's exploration of his place within the artistic community and a deep appreciation for music's emotional power over visual arts.

Initially motivated by his favorite hip hop artists—Kanye West, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Schoolboy Q—SADDO embarked on a project to translate the essence of their music into visual art.
His aim was to encapsulate the energy, lyrics, and iconic symbols of these artists so evocatively that viewers could "hear" the music through his artworks.
Over the years, this project has expanded into a comprehensive series, now encompassing around 50 illustrations, along with various works on canvas, tapestries, sculptures, and ceramics.

SADDO's work is characterized by its complex, narrative-rich compositions that weave together hip hop's lyrical themes with visual motifs drawn from a wide range of influences, including folklore, mythology, and contemporary culture. This eclectic blend not only celebrates hip hop as a music genre but also elevates it to a museum-worthy cultural phenomenon.
