Charlotte Trounce Creates Nine Flower Prints for Peléton, Denmark
Illustrator and artist Charlotte Trounce has created nine exclusive flower prints for Copenhagen art platform Peléton. The collection is inspired by wild summer flowers and includes Lilium, Lobelia, Lucky Clover, two Nasturtiums, Pansy, Petunia, Poppy and Rapeseed.
Charlotte works mainly in paint, which suits this particular flower bed rather well. Each plant is reduced to clear shapes, strong colour and visible brushwork. Peléton produces the works as art prints in a range of sizes as part of its exclusive artist collaborations.
Flowers Illustrated by Charlotte Trounce for Peléton
Lilium — Lilies grow from bulbs and produce large summer flowers. Their long stems and prominent stamens make them one of the most recognisable garden flowers.
Lobelia — Lobelia is commonly grown in borders and pots. Many varieties produce small blue or violet flowers throughout summer.

Lucky Clover — Clover belongs to the legume family and is recognised by its divided leaves. Four-leaf forms have a long association with good luck.
Nasturtium I — Nasturtiums produce round leaves and brightly coloured edible flowers. Both the flowers and leaves have a peppery flavour.
Pansy — Pansies belong to the violet family. Their overlapping petals often carry dark central markings that resemble a small face.
Petunia — Petunias are warm-weather plants with broad trumpet-shaped flowers. They appear in a wide range of colours.
Poppy — Poppies have thin petals surrounding a prominent central structure. Their seed heads are almost as recognisable as their flowers.

Rapeseed — Rapeseed belongs to the brassica family. Small yellow flowers grow in clusters and create the familiar yellow fields seen across Europe in spring and summer.
Nasturtium II — Nasturtiums produce round leaves and brightly coloured edible flowers. Both the flowers and leaves have a peppery flavour.
Peléton currently lists Charlotte’s Rapeseed, Poppy, Petunia and Nasturtium prints among its exclusive editions.
