Satoshi Hashimoto illustrates Fast Company: The New Rules of Business Travel

Satoshi Hashimoto.  Fast Company: The New Rules of Business Travel

For its Fall issue, Fast Company commissioned renowned illustrator Satoshi Hashimoto (@satoshi_23goo) to create a series of vibrant illustrations for their feature article, "The New Rules of Business Travel."

This two-spread article covers a range of mini-stories related to air travel, hotels, airport lounges, pre-check, and more. Hashimoto’s work includes eight detailed illustrations, six vignettes, and one larger annotated scene depicting the bustling environment of an airport lounge.

At the bottom of each spread, a playful queue of people moving through various airport scenes brings a dynamic, storytelling element to the feature.

Hashimoto’s artwork was expertly designed to interact with the layout, seamlessly weaving through the article’s content. The result is an engaging visual experience that enhances the reading of each story. Special thanks to art director @annegolden for her creative vision in bringing this collaboration to life.
