Under the Spotlight: Noma Bar x Netflix for 2025 Gifting

For Netflix’s 2025 gifting campaign, the streaming giant has partnered with celebrated illustrator Noma Bar to create a suite of bespoke artworks that capture the journey of a production — from idea to premiere — with visual elegance and wit.

Commissioned by creative gifting agency Bespoke-ly (part of Not-Another-Bill), the project called for a bold visual concept to tie together three signature gift boxes, each themed around a milestone in the creative process: The Writers Room, Start of Production, and Launch Gift.

At the heart of the collaboration is the idea of the “spotlight” — a metaphor for recognition, presence, and the unfolding of a story. Noma’s signature style, known for its clever use of negative space and layered storytelling, was the perfect fit.

The artwork elevates the packaging into something collectible — a visual celebration of the behind-the-scenes talent that fuels Netflix’s global storytelling. Whether marking the spark of a script or the premiere of a series, each box reflects light—literally and metaphorically—on the creatives being honoured.

Ned Corbett-Winder, founder of Bespoke-ly, explained the vision as “highlighting the brilliance of the talent, under the spotlight,” and described Noma’s work as adding “another story within the spotlight.”

With an edition of 1,500 boxes destined for actors, producers, and directors, the campaign blends high design with personal recognition — making the gifting as memorable as the shows themselves.

Each box becomes a small stage. A quiet nod. A visual tribute to the work behind the work.
