Marc Burckhardt is an American painter and illustrator whose richly symbolic, Old Master–inspired works have been commissioned by Gucci, Porsche, TIME, Rolling Stone, and The New York Times, amongst others.

His paintings have been exhibited internationally at Art Basel, Affenfaust Galerie, and Mindy Solomon Gallery, and are held in numerous private collections.

A recipient of Gold and Silver Medals from the Society of Illustrators, a Cannes Lion, and a Grammy Award for The Legend: Johnny Cash, Burckhardt has also served as President of ICON and was named Texas State Artist by the Texas Legislature.

His work masterfully fuses historical technique with contemporary storytelling, earning him recognition as one of today’s leading narrative painters.
